On Mondays from May 2, 2011 to September 26, 2011 we have our intermediate/ advanced level skate. There will be no FISC skates on Memorial Day- May 30, 4th of July and Labor Day- September 5. We usually don't skate if it's raining or the streets are wet.

The FISC Monday skate is an intermediate/ advanced level skate approximately 15-20 miles over some hilly terrain. Experienced skaters who can brake comfortably down hills and skate at a faster pace are welcome. We recommend attending our Wednesday skate before attempting this skate. Helmet and protective gear recommended. The skates are run and led by members of the National Skate Patrol (NSP) . The NSP members safely lead the skaters thru the streets calling out hazards such as cars or bad pavement.

The skate starts from the Our Lady of Sorrows back parking lot, located on the west side of Power Road between Shiawassee and Ten Mile Roads. See the map below, you may enter the parking lot from either Power Road or Raphael.

We also have a slower-paced Wednesday beginner/ intermediate skate This is a larger, more social skate about 11 miles.
